High School Program

The Encinal Yacht Club High School Sailing Program is for sailors in grades 8-12 wanting to sharpen their sailing skills throughout the fall, winter, and spring. Participants in the program attend regular practices at EYC and several weekend regattas around the Bay Area and Southern California. The regatta's are run by the Pacific Interscholastic Sailing Association (PCISA). The PICSA Regatta Schedule is here.

Currently in our 11th year of High School Sailing, Encinal has had 22 sailors move on to College Sailing in schools around the country. Of those 22, 10 have been captain of their teams! We currently have 18 active sailors in College Sailing. The 2011-2012 seasons will be broken up into 2 sessions, Fall and Winter/Spring. You can sign up for fall sailing below. You don’t need a full team to sign up. Sign up and we can team you up with other kids!

The Encinal High School Sailing Program consists of three full teams, and eight other partial teams. Each team has a parent coordinator to manage communications and logistics for regatta and practice attendance. Below is a list of participating schools.
